1999

          1st  Live web-cast for Continuing Education Units.  Dr. Bev Malone, then president of the ANA, was web-cast from the Montana Nurses Association State Conference.  This event offered CEU’s to Montana’s frontier nurses who could not attend this event. 

1997

          1st  World Wide Web Nursing Grand Rounds at the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Fall Symposium.  The first of its kind - hundreds of users following along from site to site; sysops chatted with all participants and explained the benefits of their sites.  Attendance at this on-line event was beyond expectation, and nothing like this has been done on an international scale since.

1996

          1st  On-line dialogue of the Montana Nurse's Association (MNA)’s Internet chat session with the American Nurse’s Association (ANA)’s chat room and the MNA conference attendees.   Users shared concerns, exchanged information and made decisions.

1995

          Award of Recognition from Microsoft at the HIMSS conference for a software package that allows secure remote connection to records for the only pediatric cardiologist in Montana.

1995

          1st  Registered Nurse and Microsoft Certified Professional in the United States.
